Many of you have had the pleasure of meeting this all round fantastic team member at Coriander. Here is a little more about our affable, talented, world-travelling Coriander asset.

Introducing Cari!

 

What drew you to Coriander? What do you like about your job here?

I started out almost 4 years ago as the ‘Visual Storyteller’ at Coriander where I was responsible for the general merchandising. Within the year, I took on the role of Team Lead for Coriander Life, a job which was very close to my heart because I got to work directly with our wonderful customers. And most recently, I have taken on the positions of Creative Director and Assistant Buyer for both our Coriander stores, which is super fun.

I was drawn to Coriander because it's such a dynamic small business, built on pure dedication with a passion for fun and great intention. I've worked for big brand companies in Toronto in the past and I find the unique personality and culture of Coriander really refreshing.

 

What is your favourite Coriander product and why?

There's in no way I can pick one single fave Coriander product! I absolutely love SQ Vegan Bags, the cheeky cards, the funky silver jewellery, and how could you not love the clothing?  

There's always something for everyone. And now that I am helping with the buying process, I love just about everything.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

I am Toronto born, but I have lived in a few other places around the world: The Arctic, The Channel Islands, Costa Rica, Revelstoke BC, and now Collingwood!

I love music, playing frisbee, swimming, and decorating houses. Exploring thrift stores and antique markets are also among my favourite activities.
