If you’re like us, spring doesn’t officially begin when the clocks spring forward— the seasonal closet switch out is the truest and most exciting, sign of spring.

And we are not alone—do an online search of spring wardrobe switchovers and you’ll come across a community of like-minded closet organization aficionados. 

We’ve put together this guide to make spring cleaning your closet a breeze.

By having a game plan for an organized closet and a spring wardrobe essentials checklist, you can stride into spring feeling refreshed and confident.

Spring into Action

Before you dive into the storage bins and dust bunnies, set the tone by cueing up your favourite playlist, light a candle, and have a cup (or glass) of your beverage of choice close at hand.

Whether you choose the Marie Kondo method to decide if pieces still ‘spark joy’ or the ‘one year’ rule (has a piece lingered forlornly without being worn for a year?), it’s time to get real about both your style and lifestyle: what are the ‘hero’ pieces in your wardrobe that you reach for time and time again?
